John's career spans three decades in the financial services industry with Fortune 500 leaders in banking, investments and financial planning. During those years he has had the rewarding opportunity to work with successful individuals, families and businesses, providing customized solutions uniquely designed to help toward meeting the client's ever evolving financial needs.
Today, his practice focuses on wealth management, helping people toward growing their assets through well planned Investment and Retirement Planning and helping them to control those assets through thoughtful Estate and Business Succession Planning.
John is an avid sailor and a former owner of a 1961 Pearson Triton sloop. He has been active in Frost Biting, Laser Class, in Connecticut and Rhode Island. John's practice includes a special focus on family owned businesses in the marine trades industry and he is a member of the Connecticut Marine Trades Association. John is also a competitive skeet shooter and member of the National Skeet Shooting Association and active in the Niantic Sportsman’s Club and Norwich Fish and Game.
John holds a BA from Rutgers University, an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University Graduate School of Business and an Advance Certificate in Finance from Saint John's University Graduate School of Business. He is an Investment Advisor Representative with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp., a registered investment advisor and is a Registered Representative with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp., a broker dealer, holding securities registrations 7, 63, 65, 24 and 26. He has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner cetification as well as a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM designation. He also holds licenses in life and health insurance and annuities.
John lives with his wife, Deborah, in Essex, Connecticut.
